5pm Greek Music Workshop for Children led by professional musicians and educationalists. A great opportunity for all children and young people to become familiar with Greek music, instruments and rhythms. Children are welcome to bring their own instruments; some instruments will be provided. The workshop will include songs from different parts of Greece and their rhythms, lyrical content, traditions and legends hidden behind them will be analysed. Participants will be actively involved to this ‘hands-on’ workshop at the end of which there is going to be an informal performance for all parents and friends. Free entry.
