Ionian Islands and Epirus, a Cultural History Book launch organised
by the Hellenic Centre, Ionian Society and Signal Books, Oxford. Drawing a
mosaic portrait of the Ionian Islands and special places of interest in
Epirus, author Jim Potts focuses on the landscapes, traditions, legends and
special historical events that have appealed most strongly to the

in Paintings from Duccio to Holbein An illustrated lecture in English by
Lisa Monnas, FSA exploring the way in which 14th to mid 16th Century silks
from Florence, Genoa, Lucca and Venice were depicted in the art of the
period, beginning with the paintings of Duccio and ending with those of Hans
