9 Sun Sunday 9 October - The Hellenic Centre 2nd London Hellenic Festival October has always been linked with moving to London to study, to look for a job. It marks for many of us the coming back from our native home to our real home and is one way a turning point of life in London; it is the time when Greeks and Cypriots, students and professionals, new-comers and people who feel like Londoners need to get together and discuss our national identity and sense of belonging, a constant discussion topic for Greeks and Cypriots abroad - especially this year following Brexit and its consequences for the EU citizens in the UK. This one day festival consists of everything you need for a Sunday: discussions with the audience, film screenings, live music and more. Programme details available at a later stage. Tickets will be released on 22 August at www.ark4art.com. Organised by Ark4Art and the Hellenic Centre.

17 Mon Monday 17 October, 7.15pm - The Hellenic Centre Aristotle on Rationality in Action Prof Anthony Price, Birkbeck College will discuss how according to Aristotle the conclusion of a piece of practical reasoning is an action (if nothing gets in the way) and that one can act, as well as think, rationally.
