Meatballs

  Ingredients
  • 1lb minced meat
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 slices of stale bread, made into breadcrumbs
  • chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp dried mint, optional
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon, optional
  • salt and pepper
 

 
  Method
  1. Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and knead. Allow standing for 20 minutes.
  2. Make small balls or large oval meatballs and fry in hot oil on medium heat on both sides until the meat is cooked.
  3. Serve the large meatballs hot with rice or the small ones cold as a meze.
