Peppers in Tomato Sauce  
   
  Ingredients
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic, sliced
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 coffee cup of water
  • salt

 


 
  Method
  1. Slice the peppers about 1 inch thickness.
  2. Fry on both sides maintaining some crispness.
  3. Remove from oil and place in serving dish and fry the garlic.
  4. Stir in tomato puree and stir continuously for 1 minute.
  5. Add 1 coffee cup of water and salt. Continue to stir for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Pour over peppers. Allow to cool. Best served chilled.
